NIGHT FISHING FOR CARP.
The lake of 9 hectares is located near the town of Luant (area 36) which is 15km south west of Chateauroux which is approximately 3 hours from Paris.
Directions: - A10 from Paris, at junction 14 take the A17 (E9) towards Vierzon. At junction 5 take the A20 towards Chateauroux. Exit at junction 14 and head to Luant on the D20. At town square turn right and head out of town on D80 until you come to the first cross roads about 1.5klm. Turn left onto D21 and the lake is about 700m on the left.
The lake is set in beautiful peaceful surroundings where wildlife abounds. The area is renowned for bird watching.
Booking is essential as there are only 5 pegs. Each peg can accommodate two anglers.
Your hosts Eric and Marie are able to advise you on tactics
There is a flushing toilet on site which is cleaned daily and showers are available at the town hall (2.5km from lake) between 6pm-7pm.
Mobil phones and shavers can be charged on site.
Bread is delivered Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays
Water and ice can be supplied daily by Eric or Marie
There is a live feed on our web site so that family and friends can see what you are catching
There is WC (clean) .
CARP
Most of the carp are in excess of 8kg with large numbers between 10kg and 18.5kg. There is also a very large catfish in the lake which is over 40kg or 50 kg. (See photos 2003)
FEES
Day prices are 22 euros up to 5 days. Between 5 and 7 days it is 20 euros. Fishing is per 24 hours starting and finishing at 1pm.It may be possible to book the whole lake prices on request.
